Chad Asmus
Sustainability Market Development Manager BASF
Chad Asmus graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Agronomy in May 1996. He spent thirteen years as a crop consultant in southwest Kansas with Servi-Tech, Inc., where he advised farmers on how to manage their irrigated and dryland crops. In 2009, Chad earned an M.S. in Agronomy from KSU where his thesis focused on the impact of a single tillage event on sequestered soil carbon. He then joined BASF and since has held various roles within Technical Services and Marketing. He currently is a Sustainability Market Development Manager where he helps to develop new products and business models that can bring increased value to farmers who seek to expand their sustainable farming practices. Chad is a Certified Professional Agronomist (CPAg) and holds CCA specialist certifications in 4R Nutrient Management, Resistance Management, and Sustainability.
