Cris Handel is a 25+ year sustainability professional who worked across environmental, social and financial projects. Cris has all her education in agriculture, including a master’s and PhD in plant genetics. She also has strong business experience, having worked for McKinsey and large conglomerates in Brazil and the US. Cris is currently developing a new sustainability function for Sumitomo Biorational company, bringing all the product R&D, manufacturing and trials into “nature market” models, to support the whole agriculture value chain, from farmers to large food and fiber companies.
