Understanding & Applying the Evolving Standards Landscape Across Agricultural Supply Chains
10:00 am

As scrutiny of agricultural Scope 3 emissions, removals, and intervention claims increases, companies face rising pressure from auditors, investors, and regulators. Overlapping frameworks and new guidance have made standards alignment a material risk. This workshop cuts through the complexity, providing a practical walkthrough of key frameworks and guidance on applying evolving expectations with confidence in real world reporting systems.

This workshop will:

  • Explain how the updated GHG Protocol Land Sector and Removals Standard shape agricultural Scope 3 expectations
  • Clarify the relationship between project outcomes and inventory accounting, and how companies can align within reporting systems
  • Use cross-sector examples to show how companies combine standards to build coherent and defensible Scope 3 strategies
